LAUSD Parent Center

Hello my name is Angelina De La Rosa and I am the new Community Representative at San Gabriel Elementary.  I have six years experience working as a Community Representative. I began working at Manual Arts High School for two years, then continued at John Muir Middle School for four years.  I am excited to now be working at San Gabriel Elementary School. Working with parents was something new to me but as the years went by, I saw that there was one thing in common-our students.  As parents we all want them to succeed in school and to have the best experience with their teachers and all personnel.  With your help as parents we can achieve this by working together with the Parent Center.  

Hola mi nombre es Angelina De La Rosa y soy la nueva representante de la comunidad de la escuela San Gabriel. Tengo seis años de experiencia trabajando como representante de la comunidad. Empece trabajando en la escuela Manual Arts High School por dos años y después en la escuela John Muir Middle School por cuatro años.  Estoy muy entusiasmada de estar trabajando en la escuela San Gabriel.  Trabajar con los padres fue algo nuevo para mi, pero al pasar los años me di cuenta que teníamos algo en común- nuestros estudiantes. Como padres queremos que nuestros estudiantes logren sus metas en la escuela y que tengan la mejor experiencia con los maestros y el personal de la escuela.  Con su ayuda como padres, podremos lograr esto al trabajar juntos con el centro de padres.
